.::Whisper of the Night::.
Whisper leaped from rock to rock. She was recently born here, her mother died a few moons ago but that didn't stop Whisper. Even though it was so heart renching. It didn't matter. Just ignore it. Just ignore it. She mewed in her head.
She stopped on the tallest rock out of all of them. Sweat was sticky all over her pelt. She was running away from the place she was born. It's been a few moons since she has been out here. She sniffed around the rock and scented mouse. Whisper leaped down and spotted the little creature nibbiling on a nut. She got low to the ground and kept her tail low. Her gaze never left the prey as she began to stalk it. As she neared the mouse looked straight at her and squeaked an alarm. It darted into a nearby whole under crumbiling rock.
Whisper sat up and let out a low whine. Why was everything here so hard to catch?! She hadn't had a decent bight to eat ever since her mother died. She growled and sniffed around for a river. It was dry here. Almost too dry. The sun beat down on her fur and blinded her. Finally she caught a fresh watery scent. It was wonderful.
She took off in full sprint and leaned over to lap the precious water. Whisper could feel it crawl down her throat and rest happily inside her. She lifted her head and thanked whoever was watching her. This place would be perfect to make a home. Near the water and out of the sun. She walked around and spied a cave. It was under maney rocks which provided lots of shade. She smiled ruthfully to herself. This shall be my home!
